Q. I have been told that I can't put a plaster on a child's cut finger and that I must seek the permission of a parent. Surely this can't be right can it ?
A. There is nothing to say that you can't put a plaster on a child's cut finger. Some children have an allergy to normal plasters. If you know the child has an allergy to normal plasters, you can use a Hypo-allergenic type of plaster. It is important to cover the cut to prevent infection.
